Visual Analysis

The UNSDG Goal---15. Life on Land.

Observation:

Its background is composed of a large area of land, a large area of sky and a little bit of plants on the horizon in the distance, and there is only a small sapling near it. The young tree is the main body of the magazine. The largest word at the top is the title of the magazine, and above the title is the logo of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Next to the saplings is UNSDG Goal 15.

1.1 Forests, Trees and Disasters magazine

Analysis:

I chose Life on Land out of 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. Life and Land is about protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss. The design use Harmony. The large letters and UNSDG goals of the title echo the land in the background. I think this sapling may be the result of afforestation chosen by people to prevent the desertification of the land from becoming more serious.

Interpretation:

The leaves give hope to the project, which if successful would be a big step towards improving the environment, regenerating forests that have been deforested and giving life on land a new home. It is also possible that this single prominent sapling represents the determination of the people to achieve this goal. Many hectares of forest are destroyed worldwide every year, and reforestation takes a long time, and nearly 90% of the world's deforestation is due to expansion for agriculture, nearly half to increase the area under cultivation, and some to livestock grazing.(Goal 15 | Department of Economic and Social Affairs (un.org)There are also animals that are homeless and have no place to live because of the loss of forests, but also can protect the diversity of organisms, so that animals living in the rainforest can live normally.

Idea exploration and description

My idea is that we need to protect the ecological environment of the rainforest, so that the rainforest will not become smaller and smaller, resulting in fewer and fewer animals and plants living in the rainforest until it disappears.

3.4 Birds in the forest (Final Design)

I used Contrast, Emphasis and balance in this design. What I want to convey is that there are many birds and animals that need to be seen and protected, and although much attention has been paid to the conservation of biological diversity, there are still many unprotected, illuminated birds that may be disappearing.

Feedback
Contrast and Emphasis is not a single object or creature, they can be a group of many together. The area of the light can also be larger, and this whole thing can be hit to the light.

Reflection
I increased the original one bird to four colorful birds, so that they become a group to highlight, the sun's light I made it brighter, the area is larger. I darkened the trees around me to make the birds stand out more.
